What are your opening hours?

Melbourne: 9:00am – 5:00pm, Monday – Friday.

Sydney: 9:00am – 5:30pm, Monday – Friday.

Brisbane: 9:00am – 5:00pm, Monday – Friday


Do I need to make an appointment time for my fitting?

No, pop into any of our stores at your convenience and we can conduct a fitting on the spot.


How long does a fitting take?

A fitting usually takes around 10 minutes.


Are your jackets tailored for me or sold off the rack?

We make all of our jackets to your personal specifications however if you need a new jacket urgently, we have a full range of off the rack sizes ready to be worn.


Do you have a wig cleaning/repair service?

Yes. Our team of wig makers can clean and repair your wig and have it back to you within around 7 working days.


I want my wig cleaned but I don’t want it to lose its colour or look brand new…

Our wig makers will do a superb job on cleaning and repairing your wig and they are very careful in assuring the color of the hair does not change.


What is the currency being used on this website?

Prices are in Australian Dollars (AUD)


Legal Wear Hire FAQ

When should I book robes for my admission?

We recommend you book as soon as possible, admission regalia hire is limited. Demand for admission robes always exceed hire sets available.

Large firms often book 15-20 sets months in advance.


Can I hire robes from anywhere else?

Yes, if you have barrister or solicitor advocate friends who own robes.


When can I pick up my admission robes?

We are open from 8am on admission days, alternatively you or your mover can pick up your robes the day before.

Who can pick up the robes?

We recommend you ask your mover to pick up your robes so that we can check that the robes fit them. This will take around 3 minutes.


What should the mover wear on the day?

We recommend the mover wear business attire to match the professional image of the robes.


What happens during picking up of robes?

When the mover collects their robes we will record their details, including license number, for our records. The mover can then either change into their Robes at the store, or take them to change into at a later time.


When should I return my robes?

Please return the robes as soon as possible after the admission ceremony.


What happens with my receipt?

We will provide you an itemised tax receipt upon collection of payment.
